CIARA'S MOVIE TRAILER 'MAMA I WANT TO SING ...

Back in 2008, a musical film starring R&B singer Ciara, Lynn Whitfield, Hill Harper, Billy Zane and Detroit pastor Marvin Winans was to be released in theaters.

That film, "Mama, I Want to Sing!" was based on the 1980s stage play of the same name. It's about a girl raised in the church who pursues a career in pop music, much to her religious mother's dismay.

The movie is schedule to be release in early 2012.
